Summer Travel Team Tryouts

Is your daughter interested in continuing to develop her skills during the summer and taking part in more competitive softball? Come try out for one of our summer travel teams!

10U Travel and 10U All-Stars
(for players who were age 10 and under as of 1/1/23)
10U Travel - season begins July 10th through August 7th with 2 week night games per week, with a total of 10 games, some in surrounding towns.
10U All-Stars - season begins June 19th until termination elimination with an option to continue playing 2 nights per week through August 7th
Tryout Dates - Saturday, June 10th, from 9-11 am at Sterling Field, AND Sunday, June 11th, from 5-7 pm at Hall High School

11U All-Stars
(for players who were age 11 and under as of 1/1/23)
Season begins June 19th until termination elimination. Practices and games up to 6 nights per week.
There are no tryouts for this team, players are selected based on recommendation of regular season coaches and will be receiving communication if they were selected.

12U through 18U Summer Travel (West Hartford Fury)
12U - must have 2010 birth year or younger, typically plays on Tuesday and Thursday nights with Sunday evening practices
All players who are not 10U eligible and/or not selected for the 11U all-star team are eligible and encouraged to try out for the 12U Fury team.
15U - must have 2007 birth year or younger, typically plays on Tuesday and Thursday nights with Sunday evening practices
18U - must have 2004 birth year or younger, typically plays on Monday and Wednesday nights with Sunday evening practices
Fury plays in the Northern Connecticut Girls Softball League, which is a local town by town travel league.
Season begins the week of June 19th and runs through playoffs the week of August 11th.
This league is perfect for players of all levels and includes players who also play on additional travel teams. Players can still go away for vacation as they have to play at least 50% of the season's games in order to participate in playoffs.
Tryout Dates
12U - Friday, June 2nd, AND Sunday, June 4th, at 6:00 pm at Sterling
15U and 18U - Friday, June 9th at 6 pm at Norfeldt, AND Sunday, June 11th, at 6 pm at Sterling
